COMMON LOON WOOD DUCK waited a couple more minutesI had been photographing the common loons for a few days and on this particular morning I was hoping one or two of the loons would come closer to the banks of the lake then they had the previous days. With this image, I had my eyes in the view finder of my Nikon camera using my 300mm f4. 0 lens on the tripod, checking out a loon when I lifted my head up and noticed this loon swimming just off shore checking me out.
